“There is no longer Jew, nor Greek, slave nor free, there is no longer male and female;

for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.”

St. Paul

Gal 3:28

Let Yourself Be Challenged

'Gospel' Inclusivity calls us to:

• Respect for the Dignity of Every Person

• Love

• Compassion

• Mercy

• Forgiveness

• Honesty

• Equality

• Community

• Justice

• Peace

It has been said that the Gospel is a double-edged sword:

that Jesus came to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.

Those of us who do not count ourselves as among the afflicted, or the different, or the misunderstood, or marginalized, are being called by this objective to look at reality from the point of view of the Kingdom of God. This Gospel way of looking at ourselves and the world has been referred to as the upside down kingdom.  This is a world where Gospel Values are more important than the values of society, where everyone is included and above all the humanity of each person is seen first and foremost.

As you explore these links expect to be challenged, perhaps upset, hopefully surprised and touched by voices you may not have heard before,

by realities you didn't know existed. And let yourself imagine NDP as a place where all are welcome.
